Education: I have a BA in the Humanities from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. I am a charter member of the Buffalo Bridal Association and WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association) where I continue to update my skills and identify and implement new trends in the art of documenting important social and corporate events.

Experience: I have been in the high quality, low volume wedding video business serving the Buffalo and Niagara Region of WNY since 1990.

Planning:  This involves reviewing with the client options and preferences and attending the rehearsal, if scheduling permits, to plan for the best camera angles.

Being Discreet and Unobtrusive:   Your wedding video is shot in an unobtrusive, documentary / video journalistic style. This means that I do not stage or direct shots, annoying you and your guests. I capture your wedding day without disrupting the natural flow of events and try to remain virtually invisible.

Three Chip HDV Digital Camera:  I use a professional Sony HVR-270U HDV camera. This camera allow me to capture your wedding day at a very high quality.

Wireless Microphones:  Good audio is a top priority for your wedding DVD. Professional wireless microphones are used for the vows. Even very soft spoken words are recorded with excellent clarity.

Reception Coverage:  All the highlights of the reception are videotaped with one camera and skillfully edited to look like it was shot with multiple cameras. You will want to watch it over and over again. There is no time limit, I stay till the end.

Lighting the Reception: With my low light sensitive camera there is no need to worry about bright lights at your reception. My video camera provide superior picture quality in low lighting conditions with a minimum of additional lighting.

Guest Interviews:  I generally shy away from bothering guests, but if you want guest comments in your video I recommend you give me a list of the people you want to say something on camera.

Non-Linear Editing:  After your wedding is captured on digital tape it is edited on a non-linear, computer based system using Adobe Premiere editing software. This program allows me to edit the video and audio at a very high level. The final video is edited to a fast paced, interesting to watch 60 to 90 minutes in length story of your wedding day. My goal is to create a one of a kind DVD utilizing an ever growing palette of tasteful effects and creative ideas.
